Termination of Klasha virtual dollar card services
We understand how essential your Klasha virtual dollar cards are for seamless cross-border transactions. However, due to an update from our card providers, Klasha virtual dollar card services will be unavailable effective Sunday, 17 July 2022. This means you won’t be able to create, fund, withdraw or use your Klasha virtual dollar cards on Klasha or any platform that accepts USD cards.
We recommend the following for you:
Ensure you withdraw your funds from your virtual dollar cards to your Klasha Wallet before midnight on Saturday, 16 July 2022. If you cannot do this, we will automatically credit your wallet with the funds from your virtual cards, including the mandatory $1 that has to be in all virtual dollar cards. Do note that withdrawals will be according to the daily exchange rate on the app.
Do not forget to remove your virtual dollar cards from recurring payments and download your card statements for record purposes.
You don’t have to fret! We understand how vital Klasha virtual dollar cards are for seamless international transactions. This unavailability will also enable us to migrate our card services to Visa. This means you will have more perks and be able to do more with your Klasha virtual dollar cards once we have them back up and running as Visa cards.
Our team is working hard on the migration, and we will keep you updated on the progress of this resolution. We apologise for any inconvenience this service interruption might cause you.
Do not hesitate to contact Klasha support if you have questions about the card termination.
