    Accept payments in ZMW from MPESA wallets in Zambia

    We are thrilled to announce that Klasha merchants can now accept payments from customers in Zambia using M-PESA, with payouts available in their preferred currencies. This gives our merchants access to over 66 million users on M-PESA, accelerating their business growth.

    This means customers in Zambia can now make cross-border payments with the ZMW currency using mobile money. This feature is designed to provide more flexibility for merchants using the Klasha payment gateway, enabling them to accept payment with as many flexible currencies and methods as possible.

    How to use Pay with M-PESA on your website

    • Create a business account on dashboard.klasha.com

    • Integrate Klasha Pay API or the Klasha Payment gateway on your website

    Once a merchant has integrated the Klasha payment gateway into his website or mobile app, customers will be required to;

    • Select Klasha gateway through the merchant's site or platform

    • Select ZMW currency.

    • Click M-PESA method, then select their network as MTN or Airtel.

    • The customer will be redirected to input OTP, which will be sent to his phone number.

    • Once the payment is completed, a success message will be displayed, and the receipt will be issued.
